What is a brokerage event?
A brokerage event is a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners.
Meetings are pre-arranged before the event; 20 minutes are usually enough to build connections, then the bell rings and the next talk starts.
For more details, watch the video or read further on.
How it works?
1. Online registration and profile setup
You can create a company profile with a clear and concise presentation of your company and the contact details of the person attending the event.
Your profile should describe who you are, what you can offer to potential partners, and who you want to meet. A good profile will generate significantly more meeting requests.
Then, you can set the time frames (sessions) for the face-to-face meetings with other participants. This determines how many meetings you can have.
Finally, you may create one or more cooperation profiles in the marketplace to raise your visibility to the other participants.
In your cooperation profile you can state what kind of technology/product/expertise you are offering, what kind of cooperation you are looking for and which ideas you would like to discuss with potential collaboration partners. You can add several profiles.
All cooperation profiles will be published online and will be for everyone to see. It is possible to change the profile at any time.
2. Promotion of published profiles
All published profiles will be promoted by the organisers of this event. Furthermore, the profiles will not only be viewed by the other participants but they will remain online, as in a virtual showcase, even after the event.
3. Pre-arranging bilateral meetings
Meetings can be booked from 18 April to 11 May
Online meeting from 13 May to 13 June
Start booking
You will be informed by email when you can start booking bilateral meetings, about 4 weeks before the event. Go to the participant list and check on the marketplace which cooperation profiles are suitable for you. Search options will help you to identify potential partners.
Booking of bilateral meetings
Once you have found the most promising business partners you can select them for bilateral meetings. You can add further meetings any time but please be aware that the bookings are managed on the principle "first come - first served". You can book meetings BUT you can also be booked for bilateral talks by other participants!
Your personal meeting schedule
A few days before the event you will receive your personal Agenda with information about the time, the number of the table and who you are going to meet. Furthermore, you can always check your meeting schedule online.
4. At the event
At the registration desk, you will receive an updated version of your meeting schedule including last minute bookings. Your personal meeting schedule lists in chronological order for each meeting the:
- names of your conversation partners
- number of the table for each meeting
Our staff will be at your disposal during the whole matchmaking event.
Be respectful towards the other participants' time and show up to all your meetings.
If you have any problem, delay or you are not able to attend a meeting, contact the organisers and inform your counterpart!
